UK Tour, January 1994

The dates of the Promises and Lies UK Tour in January 1994 were : 5th-6th : Cardiff International Arena, 8th-11th : Birmingham NEC, 14th : Edinburgh Ingliston, 15th-16th : Whitley Bay Ice Rink, 18th : Sheffield Arena, 19th-20th " Manchester G-Mex Centre, 22nd-26th : London Wembley Arena.

To promote the 1994 Promises and Lies Tour following the huge success of the album, an official tour calendar and promo CD were produced. The Promises and Lies 1994 'Calendart' featured the full series of pictures, 'Abolition of Man from the Lost Book of Souls' by Peter Max Kandhola, some of which was included on the Album inlay.

The promotional CD entitled, Reggae Music (UBCDJ 94), included tracks from most of UB40's albums from 'Signing Off' to 'Promises and Lies' itself.The included tracks were Tyler, One In Ten, Folitician, Love Is All Is Alright, Johnny Too Bad, If It Happens Again, Don't Break My Heart, Sing Our Own Song, Breakfast In Bed, Here I Am (Come and Take Me) and Reggae Music.

The CD, shown below, was painted with the picture 'Heaven', from the 'Abolition of Man from the Lost Book of Souls' series.
